I'm quite particular about what toothbrushes I buy and use. I find that not all toothbrushes suit all people. A few years ago I bought I toothbrush which was supposed to be good for this & that, but when I got it home and used it, I found that it was uncomfortable to use and didn't suit me at all, so it went in the bin.

On a mission I went looking for that "perfect" toothbrush and spotted the Sensodyne Total Care Toothbrush in my local supermarket. This isn't the cheapest toothbrush on the shelf, but as I find it a comfortable toothbrush to use I don't mind paying for it. The Sensodyne Total Care Toothbrush retails between £2.50 - £3.50 (depending where you buy it from), so costs a bit more than your average toothbrush.

The head of the toothbrush is slightly smaller than a lot of toothbrushes, but this helps give better access to some of the more difficult teeth (especially when you've got wisdom teeth like mine which point into my cheeks rather then where they should!). The bristles of the toothbrush are round-ended and quite soft, this helps prevent and reduce gum irritation (which is great if you've got sensitive gums). Apparently, the brush design is recommended by dental professionals, but in my experience dentists recommend whatever toothbrushes they have on sale in their dental clinic!

The toothbrush is made of clear plastic with a colour running through it (I have had light blue, blue and green, so far). The brush also has the colour running through the outside bristles too, while the inner bristles are white.

This toothbrush suits my mouth & teeth very well. While it doesn't irritate (due to the soft bristles), it does clean very well. I would certainly recommend others to try these toothbrushes... Now I always buy a Sensodyne Total Care Toothbrush when I need a replacement one.
