Advantages: Give you minty fresh breath

Disadvantages: None

Although I like using mouthwash I can't bring mysel to spend the £2 - £4 that some brands are priced at.
I've been using the Tesco freshmint for about 2 years now and have found it to be as good and effective as any other mouthwash.
It comes in a 500ml bottle in clear plastic with a green label and Tesco branding and a stamp stating that it is British Dental Health Association Approved.
It has a white cap with a child-proof squeeze and turn seal.
The mouthwash itself is a bright green colour and smells very minty. To use you pour yourself a capful of the mouthwash and swill it around your mouth for as long as you want, although I find 30 seconds is usually enough to get that minty fresh feeling.
I have used other mouthwashes in the past which have made my gums sting and feel sensitive, but I've never had that problem with this product, so I don't think it's as harsh as other products.
The ingredients are very similar to most other mouthwashes - it contains water, alcohol and various other chemicals, but probably most importantly, it contains Fluoride at 225ppm.
It's not recomended for use by children under 12 years. The bottle is recyclable and once opened it's recommended to be used within 12 months. With twice daily use I find a bottle lasts around a month
It's hard to beat the price of this product - it's currently on sale for 49p a bottle, which is a bargain in my opinion.

Summary: Great product at a bargain price
