Tesco Value Toothbrush
Advantages: GOOD VALUE
Disadvantages: LOOKS PLAIN
I have recently tried out the Tesco Value pack of two toothbrushes and this is my review.
I have been trying out some of the items in the Tesco Value range to see if they are any good as I have been trying to save some money on my weekly shop. I have found that some of the Value items are very good and others are not to good and I would not buy them again.
The Tesco Value toothbrushes cost me 12 pence for a pack of two.
The items in the Tesco Value range mostly have a very basic look to them and these toothbrushes are the same. The back of the packet is made of cardboard and there is a clear plastic cover on the front of the pack so I can see the toothbrushes in the pack. The packaging is also very plain and it looks very basic. This does not bother me to much cos the packaging goes in the bin anyway and I am more bothered about what the item is like.
The Tesco Value toothbrushes come in a pack of two and this is the only size of pack available. The two brushes are exactly the same and are a plain white colour and are made of plastic. They have a very square look to them and look quite bulky.
The Tesco Value toothbrushes are as easy to use as any other toothbrush. The handle is made of white coloured plastic and I did not have any problems with the handle being difficult or uncomfortable to hold while I was brushing my teeth.
The head of the toothbrush is quite square looking in shape and I wondered if this was going to feel bulky in my mouth when I was brushing my teeth but I didn't think it did. I thought it was an ok size for my mouth and I could not really notice much difference to my other brush.
The bristles on the Tesco Value toothbrush are quite a good texture and they are not to hard. I do not like a very hard bristled toothbrush on my teeth as I think it makes my gums bleed if it is too hard which is sore and uncomfortable. I have not had any problems with this when I have used the Tesco Value toothbrush but I have not noticed that the brush has very soft bristles on it either.
I would usually buy a 'soft' or 'medium' bristle toothbrush but there is no choice with the Tesco Value toothbrush and there is only the one pack on sale in the Tesco Value range. I would prefer to have a 'soft' bristled toothbrush but for the very low price I paid for this toothbrush I can't complain.
I like to change my toothbrush every couple of months as my gums bleed from time to time and I think it is unhygienic to use the same toothbrush for to long so I like how the Tesco Value toothbrushes are cheap enough that I can afford to buy a new one when ever I choose.
I also thought that the Tesco Value Toothbrush lasted as long as my others and even though it was a much cheaper model I didn't find that the bristles on the Tesco toothbrush wore down much quicker or more easily so it did not feel to me that this product was made of flimsy or very cheap quality materials.
The results I have got from using the Tesco Value toothbrush compared to any other brand of toothbrush are the same as far as I can tell. My teeth feel the same, and I think the brush works as well as other brushes I would normally buy so I am happy with the Tesco Value brush and also happy with the results from using it.
I would suggest giving the Tesco Value toothbrush a try out as I thought it did the job very well but even better the price was fantastic. I thought that the toothbrush would be pretty rubbish cos it was so cheap so I was very surprised that it was so good and I will buy it again.
Summary: A GOOD TOOTHBRUSH FROM TESCO
