Warranty Direct - Great People, Prices and Service!

When our Octavia VRS turned three last year we were undecided as the whether to go to the expense of purchasing a warranty, or just letting it take it's chance and save the money. To be honest, it's been a fantastic car, and in three years and 36,000 miles it's not been any trouble at all. We took Warranty Direct up on an offer (through The Daily Telegraph) for a free MOT (as long as we had a warranty quote) which was dealt with hassle free, and their price was very reasonable too.
After some deliberation and a few calls, always with the same customer service adviser/salesman, (he must have been pulling his hair out with us, we had so many questions for him) we decided to opt for the 13 month Luxury Care package. It was good value and it appeared as though the cover was pretty much on a par with the Skoda warranty too!
When the Warranty Direct pack arrived we had more questions for our long-suffering contact as we had found an anomaly in the paperwork... However, it was a printing error in respect of the turbo cover and, as promised, a further letter was sent to us confirming the level of cover - all within a matter of a few days.
Unfortunately, we had a problem with the parking sensors in March this year, and our local Skoda dealer quoted £300 to fix these - ouch! We contacted Warranty Direct who confirmed that we were covered for these (less the excess, fair enough) and our car was fixed promptly. As we had decided to use our Dealer, rather than a 'local approved garage' we had to pay the Dealer and reclaim the monies from Warranty Direct. Once again, unbelievable service, with a simple claim form and evidence of our last service and MOT being required and the cheque was with us within a week.
There are numerous problems with warranties, the level of cover provided and lack of service in this industry. But not with Warranty Direct. They are great to deal with, have honest pricing and clear policy documents (apart from the turbo printing issue - but this was resolved without any fuss). We would recommend Warranty Direct to all!
Summary: Warranty Direct - A Breath of Fresh Air!
