Excellent service from Warranty Direct

Advantages: Peace of mind, a product that lives up to its billing
I decided to take out a warranty policy with Warranty Direct to give me peace of mind in case of a significant breakdown. Just a couple of months after I had renewed the policy the engine management warning light indicated the car had a problem. I rang Warranty Direct and was told to take the car into the garage and they would then liaise with them regarding the repair. On delivering the car to the garage I was informed that a diagnostic check alone would cost about £80. Subsequently I was informed by the garage that some/all the glow plugs needed replacing and the cost could be in excess of £300. I requested the garage to contact Warranty Direct to authorise the repair. Warranty Direct gave the go ahead (having managed to negotiate the price down to approximately £150). When repaired I collected the car, paid the invoice and submitted a claim to Warranty Direct. I was reimbursed very quickly. Bearing in mind the price I would have had to pay for a "private repair" this claim alone has just about covered the cost of my policy.
I have found all Warranty Direct staff very helpful and friendly to deal with and been very impressed with their no messing about, no quibbles attitude to dealing with my claim. I thoroughly recommend them.
