      Disadvantages

An essential to keep my horse in top condition for competitions

I started using Copper Trition Equine as a supplement to dust my horse's feed last summer after we began properly competing and I wanted him in tip top condition. I wasn't very experienced with supplements as my TB X had a diet of chaff alongside his competition mix with daily turnout. I didn't really think he needed much more but when we began participating in more showing based classes, I saw that he lacked the shine in his coat and precision that the other horses did. I went home and did my research and ordered some Copper Trition online, and was very pleased with the results after a week or two of using it.

Copper Trition Equine is a supplement of which provides maximum nutrition to raise and maintain their copper levels. It also provides high content of antioxidants and Vitamin B for energy and metabolism among other nutrients. These are all combined to provide a source of health for the coat and hooves, and also raise energy levels and contribute to muscle development. It is aimed at horses which are in high levels of performance.

I add around half a scoop of the formula, of which is a powdery substance, in with his normal feed per day and mix it around. He hasn't reacted any differently since I started giving him it so I assume it is flavourless.

As a result of using it, since I began administering it almost a year ago now, I found that his coat is a lot healthier and he has maintained a sleeker coat throughout winter and hasn't lost weight so easily. His muscles haven't declined either and he is in general tip top form and seems brighter and healthier overall. He did well in winter showing classes and received some lovely comments from judges.

It is quite pricey to say I go through two of them per month, but at £25 for 1.5kg I don't think it's that expensive and shouldn't leave too much of a dent in your cash. For such a great product it's surely worth it! I order mine online though it is available in tack and feed shops.

I would recommend it to anyone needing their horse in perfect form for shows or simply for leisure. I feel good knowing I'm doing the best I can for my horse and will continue to use it even when we eventually retire from competing!
