... bit long so I had to tie a knot in it but this is not a problem and covers people who have higher ceilings. The rope just has to be looped over something and then the free end poked through the built in loop and then the free end with the clip gets pulled and the rope is secure. The clip is easy to use and strong so you don't need to worry about it breaking. I have used these Lickit holders for about 6 years now and still have my original ones so they last well. They cost about £12 now and are available in most horsey shops. The idea is that you attach the piece of rope so that the lickit holder hangs about 50cm away from any walls so that the horse really has to work for its treat. I don't have anywhere like that to hang it in either of my stables and wouldn't have had in any of the other stables I have used in the past either.
