      Very helpful

Stick with your roller if you are planning on painting your house!

I bought a power devil paint sprayer and found it was fine for spraying materials like preservative and thinner materials, however, I did not get on to well spaying thicker paints like thick emulsion (maybe if I thinned the emulsion right down they would have gone through the gun a bit better instead of dribbling out). As with all spraying tools you need to clean them through with the right thinners such as white spirit for oil based paints. I mainly stuck with water based products so that the sprayer could be cleaned with water.

It was very useful for spraying fencing and trellis as this would have taken a lot longer with a brush, however, I found when spaying my fencing with wood stain the gun was very noisy unlike using a hand pumped preservative sprayer which I usually use.

The only downside to this sprayer is that if you have no electrical supply in the garden then you will need an extension lead, however, as it got the job done quicker than using a brush I didn't mind.

Overall this isn't a bad buy, however, I would only recommend this for spraying garden furniture etc. If you planning on using this for decorating I would stick with a roller!
