We had nt done any research into which resorts were best for us, we just went to a travel agent and booked one. We arrived quite late in the day so didn t get to see much until the following day. ... Maggiore is a large lake in the North of Italy. The western part of it is in the region of Piedmont, while the eastern part in the region of Lombardy.
