BUTLINS - Great if you have kids (Butlins in general)

Advantages: Loads for all the family.

Disadvantages: Can be a bit pricey-high season.

Don`t cringe, you`ll love it!
I wasn`t too sure when we first booked a long weekend, but
having small kids, it was the best idea I could come up with.

We was far from dissappointed.
We went to Skegness....I was impressed.
There`s around nine different pubs to choose from and all but one we could take the kids to.

They loved it,learning the latest dances, the entertainers were excellent,keeping the kids busy & if they saw a child looking left out, they`d spend time trying to coax them to join in.
We enjoyed it...well the kids weren`t moaning they were bored every 2 minutes.

There`s a creche/nursery where you can take the baby/kids for a couple of hours break in the day.

Loads of free rides, so when they said `can I go on that again` you could say yes, everytime.

You can hire a babysitter(at a charge), ours came earlier so the kids could get to know her, then came back at the arranged time....we were late back,we unexpectedly stopped for Pizza...no problem, we just paid a bit more.
We went to the No Kids pub, where there was great entertainment, including hypontist, finishing at 2pm.

There`s plenty of Food places for all meals, and for grabbing something on your way home at night, Burgers etc.

Theres a couple of well stocked supermarkets & other small shops.

Accomodation was clean, but basic,although you can upgrade. There was so much to do we were only there to sleep anyway.

We have been in both self-catering and full board.
Full board worked out cheaper as meals for a family & snacks does work out expensive. The FB meals were ok...even though we did expect to hear our waiter shout Hi-di-hi !!
Although this means you are restricted by mealtimes.

We have since been back twice more, and only once did we leave the site, only because we thought we should, we couldn`t say we`d been to Skegness 3 times, but had never seen it !!

ds who have been to, Bogner & Minehead also, I`m told they are all pretty much the same...good!

Summary:
