After writing a review on Dubai as a whole, I would like to share my views on its Gold souk too., Dubai besides having lot of gold shops has an individual market for gold shopping which is better known as Gold Souk.
The speciality of this market is you can find all the varieities of every jewellery like earrings, nosepins, necklaces, bangles, etc with their latest desings in this single market., means your time for visiting all the shops in Dubai and choosing from them is saved by going to this single market.
The location is in Deira Dubai where you can go by Bus, hire a Cab or by abra (boat) if you are staying in Bur Dubai.
If we talk about the quality and shining of the gold , you would really aprreciate the difference , if you would see it as it has superb look and purity.
If you dont want any desings in your jewellery , you can also buy some plain won like a Punjabi kada in which can be regularly wore.
There are a number of shops in sequence that compels to enter each one and then buy making full satisfaction and fun of shopping.
There are such sizes of neclaces we could not find anywhere else because these are wore by arabic ladies beings thier culture.
Those are in such beautiful designs that we really enjoy the window shopping if we dont have to buy one.
In short if you are planning for Dubai trip, please take some money with you for gold shopping..)
