Hi all

I've used II for eight years as a GVC/Sunterra/Diamond Resort member.  I have 25000 points, which means I have invested A LOT of money in the enterprise.To date, we have been VERY happy with every break we have taken.  But you have to do your homework first, and research carefully where you want to stay.

One of the advantages of many locations is they ARE slightly off the beaten track.  Why would you want to holiday with the crowds?  Hire a car, it's not exactly rocket science !Being an II member has taken us to some fabulous resorts: Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia; Bintan Lagoon, Indonesia; sport Hotel St Johann, south of Salzburg and the amazing Palm Oasis, Gran Canaria, both of which we've been to three or four times.We've also been to Florida twice (Blue Tree resort) with II and used points to pay part of a Carnival cruise to Mexico and Belize We have had some fantastic holidays through Sunterra. 

It seems that the people who moan about this organisation either dont have enough points to make it work properly or they book too late.  I'm a school teacher so have to travel in school holidays too.  I've never had a problem because I watch the sites regularly, and book 365 days in advance if it's a Diamond resort.

This year we'll be off to the Palm Oasis (again!) in May, have a week on a canal boat in July and a week at Thurnam Hall, Lancaster in August. Can't complain about that.  Last year went to Palm Oasis twice, week in Tenerife, week in Austria.
