The Municipal Theatre, in the city centre, is a barroque style construction and it was inaugurated in 1911. It is one of the main theatres of the city with 1600 places between seats, noble balcony, simple balcony and foyer. All the major events on Classical music, Operah and dance-either ballet or contemporary are shown there.
