Advantages: Different destination each day

Disadvantages: The cruise has to end

I have now been on the Aurora twice. Both times sailing around the Canaries. The ship is very consistent and the standard of service was excellent both times.
Sailing out of Southampton makes it much easier than carting baggage to airports where you have restrictions on luggage. We chose to park at Southampton. We drove to the port where porters unloaded our luggage from the car. The next time we saw our luggage was in our room.
Cabins are of a reasonable size and have tea and coffee making in the room. Ideal if you are like me and want a cup of tea first thing in the morning before braving the elements.
Food on board is superb. Two choices of dining, either an early sitting or late sitting. The other option is to eat from the buffet restaurant. This way you are not restricted to any times.
Several bars on ship, from quiet to the nightclub finishing early hours of the morning. Entertainment staff organise many events from deck quoits to bingo, quizzes to karaoke. They are all very pleasant and very helpful.
We have been lucky on both cruises for organized events. The first had talks - Clement Froyd, Terry Waite, Murray Walker and John Sargeant - superb and very entertaining. The second had members from the Tate gallery. Not only did they do talks, they also ran art classes which were great for people like me wanting to try something new. P&O run other specialised cruises e.g. antiques and wine. These are well worth looking out for.
Thoroughly enjoyable holiday which I would recommend to all, young or old you will really enjoy the experience.

Summary: You will enjoy cruising whatever age.

Some useful info but I wonder if you could add anything about approximate prices perhaps or the cabin interiors that would enhance your review?
