Lido Martianez:
... the Lido there are 7 main pools each in the shape of one of the Canary Islands. The pools are salt water and the water comes from the nearby sea. The Lido also has lots of sunbeds if you are planning to get a tan, and some expensive bars to buy food and drink! The pools vary in size but I only went in 2 of them. The water is quite salty as it is seawater and is also very cold when you first get in - so cold I was... Read the full review: A Fun Day Out in Tenerife! by ns1209 |

Maspalomas ... Maspalomas..... When my husband and I first visited Gran Canaria, we were lucky enough to pick an apartment in Maspalomas. We had nt done any research into which resorts were best for us, we just went to a travel agent and booked one. We arrived quite late in the day so didn t get to see much until the following day. After staying there a week, we came to realise how gorgeous this little resort was. Maspalomas is right next to Playa del ingles, the hotspot for clubs and bars. We re not the type of couple that go on holiday to get drunk and club it up all night long, more the sort to have a great time exploring the island, spending a few days at the beach and eating ... Levante Beach (Benidorm, Spain) ... recently visited Benidorm I was initially surprised when I first arrived at the beach...it was lovely! I don t really know what I was expecting, maybe the usual stereotype of the Brit-laden Spanish costas; dirty, over-crowded etc etc. However, as I say, to my surprise, it was actually very nice and played a major part in the enjoyment of my holiday. The beach stretched for miles, covered by glorious golden sands, with pretty clear blue water. The beach itself was very clean and despite hoardes of sunbeds, which cost to hire, there was also alot of free space where one was able to lay down a few towels or kick a ball about. The beach is manned by life guards, whil... Read the full review: Costa del Benidorm! by simonh7 |

Son Bou ... visited the resort of Son Bou, Menorca in May of this year. There were seven of us in the party; 4 adults and 3 children, aged 6, 2 and 7 months. We had booked the holiday back in November 2008 through Thomson holidays. We paid around £285 per adult and paid for just one of the kids at £149. That was for two weeks in a self- catering studio apartment. SON BOU THE RESORT When we landed at Mahon Airport we were transferred by mini-bus to our apartment complex, Girasol Garden Apartments, in Son Bou. The transfer took arrox 25 mins (which was a great relief as we have initially been told on booking that it was 1 1/2 hours transfer - phew). Son Bou itself is quite ...
