Advantages: overground landmarks, zoomable map

Disadvantages: not available for windows XP

For me, this product turns how you navigate around the London Undergound on it's head. It makes it real instead of virtual in that you no longer have to navigate from Point A to Point B by going from Tube Station A to Tube Station B. Instead you just type in your nearest overground landmark or street name, and the software will work out your nearest tube stop - and from there your journey and itinery - for you.

I suppose you could say it brings underground travel overground. If only such software was available for other cities' services - like the Paris Metro and New York Subway...

This is aan ideal piece of software for hassled commuters. I've heard of some offices installing it as standard across all thier PCs, so London-based workers just have to log in and enter their journey details to get a cost effective journey plan. Another good reason to leave your car at home when you work in London!...

The science bit: Minimum System Requirements are IBC compatible PC/Window 3.1, 95, 98 or NT4/386SX/25 Processor/4 MB RAM/8 MB Hard Disk Space.
