ikklejojo Kidspace Adventures (Croydon): ... in Croydon is a fantastic place for young children. It is a massive play park, with different zones for different age groups. The toddler zone has soft play sections, a sensory room, LOADS of wooden climbing structures and some cars to ride on, as well as two trampolines. My two girls have really enjoyed playing in this area, which is accessible even with a buggy, with a lift from the reception area. The...

james+needham UGC Cinema Didsbury
... pars wood Cineworld is a pretty average new multi screen cinema that and is pretty much like any other recently built large multi screen cinema but this one has an unusual twist its extortionately expensive. The standard ticket being £7.50 and the student £5.00 which leaves me with the feeling that I could just pop into the Tesco opposite an buy myself a dvd which would be cheaper. The choice of films is reasonable but that more because of it large number of screens rather than any kind of ethos. again its the standard fare of Hollywood blockbusters with maybe if your very lucky a extremely popular non mainstream film thrown in. the food and cafe extra follow the pr...

BlaEm Reading Festival
... have been to Reading Festival 4 times - I was gutted that I couldn t go this year, but I ve already bought my presale ticket for 2010 and I can t wait! ============= Who should go?? ============= Of course, your enjoyment of any festival is going to depend on your attitude to camping, who you re going with, how you feel about the line-up and so on. But the thing I really love about Reading is the amazing atmosphere (and I ve been fortunate enough to only go when the weather has been pretty good!), which has been lacking from some other festivals I ve been too - even when I preferred the music. I think the age range of Reading is anywhere between 16 annd 35 - my dad m...

LIZS383 The Clothes Show Live (NEC Birmingham)
... Clothes Show Live is an Institution. Every December hordes of screaming young girls, (not so young girls and some men too) dress up and descend on the NEC Birmingham for five/six days of fashion, shopping and all round chaos! History Now in its 21st year the Clothes show started 1989. It used to be televised each year on the BBC and I used to coincidentally like to be sick and off school and watch all the drama! It was started at the NEC in Birmingham mainly due to the space and facilities available there, but as of last year there is a Clothes show London opening in May too! The original is on in December (usually opening around the 3-5th). The premise for t...
