Overview
------------
To begin, i would like to say that I have only ever experience the Alea Casino in Leeds, and therefore my review is directed towards that and not any other locations around the UK.

My Story
-----------
My university mates and I decided that we fancied a bit of a casino crawl around Leeds so we quickly researched the different money drainers on offer. We found there to be a number of different establishments from Gala to Alea to Grosvenor and Napoleons. Therefore we decided to travel to them all in one night. I shall compare Alea here against the other casinos in Leeds.

Unfortunately, being located at Clarence Dock, Alea is well outside the main hub of Leeds City Centre. We took a taxi which cost about £9 which was not a great start to the evening. I was already 9 quid down without even placing a bet. This did not bode well.

However, the night began to improve upon arrival at Alea. The building itself is very modern and really what you would expect from a casino. The idea is to promote the image of wealth and money; Alea certainly does this.

When inside, we were informed that as new members we would receive a free no lose £10 bet and also £10 to spend in the bar or restaurant. We were very impressed by this, as it was clear that we were going to sign up anyway.

We headed up to the betting floor and were impressed by the sheer size of the Alea. It was massive! Fortunately, the space was very well equipped. Downstairs, you will find a number of slot machines and other such bandits. Upstairs was the betting floor. A number of blackjack and roulette tables.

Here we placed our free bets, and i won, so the night had began to improve considerably!

We then decided to test out the food vouchers and, despite it being long past 11pm we were served quickly and efficiently. The bar staff had no quarrels with our free vouchers and i was served a japanese meze ranging from a number of different items. It was very tasty and i thoroughly enjoyed the meal, even more so when i considered that through my free bet, Alea had paid me to eat it!

Today, I am still receiving inscentives to return to the casino such as no lose vouchers and bet enhancers so it is clear that the Alea look after their customers.

I look forward to returning next week when i head back up to Leeds.

Summary: A good casino in leeds
