great place for all people of all ages at all times of year (Amerton Farm & Craft Centre (Stafford))
Member Name: lisharoberts
Advantages: farm shops, animals, train rides, cafes and play ares Disadvantages: nothing
This lovely little place near Stone/Stafford has lots to interest people from the little nippers to the elderly. It is a small farm, having a bird sanctuary, animals that you can feed, farm shops for farm food such as bakery, butchers and farm confectionaries. Gift shops, a made jewellery shop, glass making shop, cake shope selling brilliantly done all different occasion cakes from weddings to birthdays to christenings and also sells sweets and a pottery shop where children can paint their own pot. It also has a little train for children that goes around the farm, a recent big sand pit with buckets and spades available for kids. Little rides for kids, ice cream shop and cafe. The cafe provides excellent food for the price and is set in an old barn. There are also picnic tables outside for those lovely warm days in the summer. Also a big barn at the back has been converted into a big play barn for kids that i feel is lots better for kids than the wakey ware house. It has slides ropes and bridges. A play area with soft toys, slides, and other toys for the under 4s, an area which provides different kinds of bikes and tractors for all ages to ride around two big hey stacks and two bouncy castles. For the adults over looking the kids there are picnic tables in the barn to sit and watch the kids. There is also a cafe providing little snacks for children and hot and warm snacks for adults, hot and cold drinks. Entry to the play barn is only 2.75 for each child. Adults free (wow not very often adults go free but children have to be charged) Summary: great little place to visit |
