Disadvantages: Beat up, broken, over priced, cheap and nasty.

After reading the reviews, I feel slightly petty registering my complaints of Park Resorts Camber Sands. Some of the experiences sound awful. Ours was very disappointing. Our 'holiday' started with a long wait for food at the Boathouse bar. An hour and 20 minutes. I complained and eventually through much, much 'discussion' received a free round of drinks. The food was not good, and cold. In that spirit, we entered our chalet at the far, far end of the site. God, they looked depressing, more concentration camp than holiday camp. Inside, the chalet were reasonably clean, but very beaten up. The doors at some point were in a terrible fight. Kicked in, kicked open, holes, dents, broken locks. Many of the chalet fixtures were broken. One of the beds was broken. We were unable to open the patio doors, and after calling reception daily, they are still unusable. Not nice.
