Just returned (a day early) from Bideford bay - worst holiday on a caravan site as yet. Couldn't wait to get home. Caravan was horrible, not very clean, found earwigs in the bedroom, no kettle and lights both in bathroom and bedroom did not work - went to reception to complain, maintenance man came to fix light in bathroom - but told us they already knew about the broken light in bedroom, apparently the part had been ordered a few days ago and would take 2 days to arrive (that meant our holiday would be over before it got fixed). Outdoor swimming pool was closed, crazy golf was a joke.Tried the takeaway - burgers burnt to a cinder and very expensive - also forgot part of our order. Wouldn't recommend this resort (if you could call it that) to anyone.

WE STAYED AT BRYNOWEN PARK RESORTS SITE IN BORTH.WHAT A DISGRACE WE STAYED FOR A WEEKEND COSTING 300 POUNDS.WHEN WE ARRIVED OUR SMOKE ALARM HAD NO BATTERY OR CASING!!!!OUE HEATER IN BATHROOM WAS HANGING OFF THE WALL AND OUR CARPET WAS DISGUSTING FULL OF DOG HAIR AND STAINS I WAS HORRIFIED.THE KITCHEN BLIND WAS BROKEN THE VAN WAS MOULDY AND DAMP AND THE HEATER IN BEDROOM DID NOT WORK.BE AWARE BE VERY AWARE I AINT A FUSSY PERSON AT ALL BUT I WARN ALL DO NOT USE THIS PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

spent 4 nights at the worst camp ever at bucks cross bideford bay shower dirty & broken no cot when we arrived security had to find one .put new shower in next day & unblocked drains taps wouldnt turn off in bathroom fridge & freezer not been cleaned still remnants of previous occupents food lights didnt always work heating in bedrooms didnt work we had two young babies and they were cold no attempt to fix heating or to appologise no one came to see what the problems apart from repairing shower. went to indoor swimming pool baby changing cubicle disgusting nappy bucket overflowing hadnt been emptied for days smell awful floor filthy and full of dirt wouldnt put animal in there never mind young babies brenda minus rating.

Do not recommand anyone to go here for a holiday, the apartment we stayed in was disgusting there was a damp smell everywhere and there was mould everywhere in the apartment. Everywhere you looked was mould on the pillows, walls and shower curtains. My partner put he shoes on the shoe rack when he went to put them away there was mould on them. I have never seen anything like it before and its the worse holiday camp i have been to. I went and complained all we got was a apology and told there will not probably be any further action taken. Who ever checks these rooms need to check abit harder because the hygiene of the room was disgusting. I am very disspointed and would never go back!!!

After reading the reviews, I feel slightly petty registering my complaints of Park Resorts Camber Sands. Some of the experiences sound awful. Ours was very disappointing. Our 'holiday' started with a long wait for food at the Boathouse bar. An hour and 20 minutes. i WENT TO A PARK RESORT IN BORTH, IT WAS DISGUSTING. DIRTY UNDERWEAR AND FOOD WAS LYGING ABOUT IN OUR APARTMENT, WE HAD CLEANERS IN DOING THINGS TIL TWO INT HE MORNING.
