Advantages: the exit Disadvantages: manager and some staffs attitude to paying guest my family an i have just returned from broadland sands in corton near lowestoft on the 1/8/09. we rented a gold plus 6 disabled van as our daughter is wheelchair bound, our advice is if you want a happy relaxing holiday with a clean un infested caravan dont go to broadland no sands, our van was infested with earwigs on the day we arrived they got in to every thing an anything yet when we complained we were treated like dirt with no respect at all, we were moved to a spare van at gone 2 in the early hours of sunday morning, we paid for top of the range van but ended spending our week in a van not suited to our daughters needs, the manager was a disgrace with no concern at all to our fears about returning to a van which had chemicals put down inside and out and did not seem to understand when we said we did not want to move back to a van which had such chemicals every where in case it contaminated our daughters medical equipment. also there brochure states direct access to there beach but the access has been closed of for some conciderable time due to the cliffs this site sits on collapsing yet at no point during booking and paying our ballance off or even on check in day were we informed of this, the food is edible but nothing to get excited about and the pitch and putt when we stayed was not playable due to the length of the grass, this site could do with a major overall and new staff as it could make a wonderful holiday park. just to keep every one updated after sending off our complaint to broadland sands head office 4 weeks ago we have still not recieved a single letter in responce to our complaint, so we have now come to the conclusion this company does not care about there customers genuine complaints, and after all we have not once asked for a refund or compensation, just that they would make sure this did not happen to future guests and a letter of apology would of done us, so beware fellow caravaners this company is happy to take your money but does not care about your stay or complaints. ian angie from doncaster Summary: could do with a major overall |
