Butlins (Bognor Regis)Newest Review: ... people say that Butlins is just for small children, but after going to Bognor every year , I'm still not sick of it. Butlins is a great place for kids, teenagers and adults. There's something for everyone. Whether it be the small rides or character shows for the kids, bowling or swimming for the teens or relaxing while your kids are being taken care of by the redcoats in the kids clubs, ... more |

Kids love it???? I love it !!!! Been going every year since i was born it has changed in many ways but still a great holiday . One little hint tho if you are unlucky and get one of the bad appartments complain and they will put you in gold accomidation , My advice would be to go half board very good value for money as you can eat as much as you like and believe me i did get my moneys worth , the food is of good quality. Butlins Myself and my family (Grandad,Mum,and two children aged 7 and 13) went to butlins bognor regis for 4 nights. We stayed in a standard dinner, bed and breakfast apartment and it was absolutely appaling. The room was tiny and cramped and the bathroom was horrific. When we went to our restaurant the food was delicous and we had the freedom to go up and get more food and drinks as many times as we wanted. However the amount of pushing and shoving was horrendous and the times were a bit awkward. The activites in the daytime were quite good. There was a range of sports for the kids such as archery, fencing and football. We went to the ... Read the complete review

I have just visited Butlins in Bognor as a day tripper, I was appalled as a mother of two that the £7.50 admission fee for children and £15 admission fee for adults only included the use of the pool, - the fun fair rides (about 4) and the play zone areas. My children did enjoy the day but it was a constant dissapointment to them that I had to continually say no to them because rides and activities cost money. I would say that this day consisted of a very expensive swim in what is a very good pool, but the resort isn't for those who want a cheap day out. There are also height restrictions on many of the rides.

I am currently in my Butlins apartment with a terribly dodgy internet connection! The only reason for this is due to my husband needing internet access for work issues. I have never written a review in my life but I would rather write one about this one to warn potential holiday makers of what to expect as I have found this to be the most stressful holiday I have ever had. I usually try to make best of things but have found it difficult to find positives in this instance and am not one to make a complaint usually. We (myself, husband, son (11) and daughter (7) booked silver plus accommodation thinking it sounded more than reasonable for our needs. ... Read the complete review

*this is a Butlins as a day trip review only* I like to think that my sense of adventure has not quite deserted me, but these days as a mum of two my ability for spontaneity is limited. Still, on perhaps the only proper day of sunshine to date in the what is loosely known as "Summer" holidays, I found myself at Butlins Bognor as a day tripper. This certainly wasn't what I was expecting when I woke up that morning. Butlins, as I am sure most people know is a holiday camp, but you can buy day tickets and at the entrance to Bognor itself there even road signs that say "Butlins guests" and "day visitors to Butlins" which ...
