I've been on 5 holidays to butlins bognor and because I love it so much I'm going there again for a 3 night break next month.
Once you arrive its not too long before you can get into your apartment. Best accomodation is silver, although I have stayed in gold, standard and silver, silver is the best. It has a cosy living room , comfortable sofa's and beds, hot shower etc. Fairly clean and well kept. If you choose to stay in gold I personally do not think it is as good, but, it is bigger, has bigger tv and one in main bedroom, plus a dvd player, but I thought the bed there was very uncomfy. Standard is ok for what you pay for , if you have a standard room its small but fine to sleep in, standard apartments quite nice, big enough.

Half board food very good. Breakfast, variety of choice, delicious fry ups and other options too such as fruit salad and cereal, which are all unlimited and served to you in a buffet style. Dinner good as well, 3 courses if you want, a couple of choices of soup with rolls as starters and all kids faves like chips, sausages, chicken nuggets etc but also other stuff like pasta, roasted meat. Not much choice for desert, usually 3 flavours of ice cream, a hot pudding and a couple of cold cake choices.
I have dined in a couple of the other restuarants there too, pinewood studio's (nice atmosphere and decor and quite nice food but overpriced and quite small portions), and the sun and moon pub (very good reasonably proced good quality food) and burger king is just burger king.

Swimming pool excellent best thing there, lots of water rides like space bowl and master blaster very thrilling and flumes and big white slides but plenty for littlens as well such as shallow beach area , kids slides and wave machine.
Funfair quite good, rides aren't very scary but still ok.
Amusements good. Entertainment very good plenty of places to choose from, centrestage the best with ectra amusements, a shop and bar. Good perfomances though quite busy and have to queue to go in. Outdoor play area good and so is indoor one. Handy shops and facilties.

Summary: Overall butlins is great family fun!
