Advantages: Great for kids

Disadvantages: Rip Off for us grown ups

We have just returned from a 4 day break. We decided to upgrade accommodation from Silver to Gold Self Catering. The accommodation was dirty on arrival, the freezer door to the fridge was missing so everything was frozen( this was reported but remained in that state for the duration of our stay) Furniture was damaged with a door hanging off a bedside cabinet.

Worthy of note that all staff less Red Coats are all Cosavo's who found it extremeley difficult to communicate.

It was also noteworthy that their is a fair amount of disrepair. Gents toilet doors hanging off hinges in the main area, childrens rides out of commision, fruit machines off the road, change machines not working as they had not been filled up.

My grand daughter enjoyed her stay for that I am really pleased about. The lack of adult supervision on some of the activities did concern me somewhat.

I was at this Bultlins in 1960 and sadley Butlins has lost the magic it once had.
