Spooky halloween (Butlins (Bognor Regis))

I have just returned from butlins with my 8 year old sister and partner for the October half term week. We stayed in a silver plus apartment which was more than pleasant and provided us with enough space. The only negative we found in the accomodation itself (other than the noisy family above us - which is not butlins fault) was the shower, it was a bit pathetic, dribbled on you even on its most powerful setting. But if you do a daily swim it doesnt matter as the pool showers are more powerful, but obviously not as discreet. The swimming pool was FANTASTIC brillant for all ages, lots of flumes, rapid and a wave machine keeps every happy. If you are a serious swimmer the only time you can go without being crowded is at 9am for a hour but this is to expected at a family park. The park offers about 6/7 rides FOC and lots of parks and sporting activities you can join in with. In the evening you have 3/4 options on how to spend your evening, ranging from Karaoke, centre stage shows or a drink in the sports bar. We stayed on the self catering option, and as it was a break we didn't want to cook and i have to say there wasnt many options to eat out if you didn't like fast food (they had a burger king, fish and chips, kebabs, hot dog stand, pub food or buffet) so we did end up eating out of the complex one night to give our bodies a break. I would recommend this park to familys with children of all ages as it has something for everyone and i would like to add that they made a real occasion of halloween, pumpkins and decoration everywhere in the skyline tent giving several evenings for kids to dress up.....very good effort by all the redcoats and skyline gang.

Summary: Fun 4day stay!!!!
