Advantages: Plenty to do for the kids

Disadvantages: Not enough to do for the adults. Too expensive.

Having been to all 6 Butlins camps of yester year and all 3 of them since they trimmed them down and built the enormous Skyline pavilions at each of them, I have to say I am extremely disappointed with the direction Butlins seems to be going. Sure, the magic is obviously still there for the children, that is never going to change, but for the adults things have gone badly wrong. The entertainment at night is the main draw for adults and that has seemingly decreased in quality over the last few years. The highlight of this holiday was Chico, enough said on that. Prices seem to soar at Butlins, whereas what they are offering does not. The layour of the camp is fine and you are never too far away from where you want to be and the kids will love it, but, for the prices charged, you really need more for the adults aswell. Some areas of the camp need development urgently.

Summary: Great for kids, not so for adults.
