I have just returned from my Butlins holiday & I am furious. I was in a silver appartment with no cleaning service. 24 hours before our departure a member of the cleaning team let themselves in while we were out without warning/contacting us for permission. All of our personal possessions were on display inside (although curtains ... Read the complete review

I had been to Butlins Minehead when I was younger with my family and once I had my own two children I thought it would be nice to go back there as there is so much to entertain young children. On arriving the same excitement came into me as when I was a child as you see the white pavilion on the horizon, although I was a bit ... Read the complete review

Having had holidays at Butlins for the past several years, I do actually quite enjoy it there, although the main drawback is the cost of everything on site - expensive!! We very rarely stay there for a week, just usually for the long weekends, mainly because it becomes very expensive. We just recently came back from ... Read the complete review

I have been to Minehead many times as a child and recently returned with my child. The entertainment for children is good and there are always activities for them to do including live shows with characters such as Bob the Builder and Barney, puppet shows, a free funfair, swimming, soft play area and childrens clubs. Be warned there are ... Read the complete review

I'm not new to Butlins but how they treat us this time was terrible. Our holiday from 6June-10June 2011. First day, lots of blood stains on beddings and they changed it quickly so we think it's ok you can't expect like hotel here. We never expected would be very good but as long as our little one enjoy it that's most important. ... Read the complete review

Hubbie, Little Man and I spent 5 days at Butlins, Minehead in the second week of September. We decided to go half board (so that I got a break too), and stayed in a gold apartment with the premium dining plan. *also on ciao under username kayleaf* Since I've found out I was pregnant my fiancé and I have had little time to indulge in things we used to do. I have to admit I took cinema trips and the odd clothing purchase for granted so I was pleasantly surprised when we found out the inlaws had booked us a getaway to spend some time ... Well where do i begin with this holiday from absolute hell?? We have just returned from a 70s weekend at minehead for my daughters hen party, we decided to come home a day early due to the lack of sleep (not sleeping at all for 2 nights) and intimidating groups of stag partys. We expected loud and drunken behaviour but having glass ... Read the complete review

I hadn't been to a Butlins since I was a child, but when my friend said WWE were doing a show in Butlins Minehead, I thought it could be a fun weekend so decided to go. The WWE tickets included a weekend break in a silver apartment for 4 people, self catering. The holiday park itself was quite easy to find, but then I did use ... Read the complete review

I have visited Butlins in Minehead now on several occasions for the 60's themed weekends. We go in a group of around 60, we all stay in the old style chalets and are half board and pay around £120 for 4 days and 3 nights. It is a long old drive from the midlands but is worth it. I have only ever been in the winter, as the ... Read the complete review

With three small children, my Husband and I thought that i might not be a great idea (or a cheap one) to go abroad on holiday this year. I visited Butlins as a child quite a few times, so we looked into that, and picked a week at the beginning of August. Its not as cheap as Haven or Pontins, but having had a terrible ... Having read some of the other reviews about Butlins Minehead, I just wanted to write about our experience there. We went last year in the Easter holidays, and had a really good time.
