Advantages: Great for the kids

Disadvantages: Not so good for the adults

Logistically, the Butlins camp in Skegness is the easiest to get to if you live anywhere north of London. The camp itself has not really been renovated since the company trimmed its camps from 6 to 3 and erected the hugely impressive Skyline pavilions at the remaining 3 camps in Minehead, Bognor Regis and Skegness, so that needs addressing fairly soon if it is to prevent itself from looking too old. The entertainment and options for children are outstanding as ever, but sadly the entertainment and choices of activities for adults has been limited to basically, the cinema or drinking and watching the shows. The shows themselves are pretty poor on average apart from the star studded Saturday night. The layour of the camp is not as good as the other two in respects that it is more of a stright long road than a square, so to walk from one end to the other can take over an hour with children and that is not very appealing to them. It is still a great place to go and the fun for the adults really comes from seeing the joy in their kid's faces.

Summary: The best Butlins Camp of the three
