I'll just copy the email i have sent to complain saves me writing it all out again. I wouldnt recommend skegness one little bit!!!

I have just returned after a week at ur resort. I wish to make a complaint regarding matters which took place while we were there. Can i 1st say i am glad to be home! AFter holidaying in minehead last year and thoroughly enjoying it we were all so looking forward to this visit. We booked silver room, same as last year, but were very disapointed on arrival there were holes in the pillowslips, handles missing on the wardrobe, a hole in the bathroom floor, horrible portable tvs in the rooms, with very bad reception, on day 2 this was the only day we received house keeping, so bins were over flowing, and i had to go buy toilet roll. The bath mat was smelly and soaking as it lay for a week!! The shower head was also leaking,. The whole accomodation was not a patch on minheads same level of accomodation. In the skyline i entered the disabled toilet outside the ladies as the cinema. On the toilet roll holder there was excrement wiped all over it. I 1st saw this on the day we arrived, and i checked it the day we left 7 days later and it was still there. My guess is it still will be. It was disgusting. To think ur cleaners went in there and changed the toilet roll and never cleaned it leaves a lot to be desired. The attitude of your workers in the coral beach serving food was terrible. When my son asked for 2 hot dogs one evening he was refused! I then had to go up and get one. I was disgusted. I paid good money for half board, and have read that no one goes home hungry! This is obviously not the case. When in the morning i asked for an extra piece of bacon instead of sausage the look you got from the servers was disgrasfull, and very off putting. It was like this everyday. We were on holiday and were treated like beggars, begging for the food we had already paid for. One evening i saw people eating gateau, i really fancied it as i found your selection of desserts terrible. There were none out but a big display of them behind the cabinet. The woman was filling it at the time, so i stood waiting, while another woman also waited. She didnt put the gateau out so i asked for it, and the woman complained about giving it to me. The woman beside me asked for one, and the worker said no, not until the other desserts had been eaten, and the lady went on to complain that she hadnt put any of that one out. WHo do your workers think they are? Do they not realise we have paid for this food? Its not like its free... On another occasion i que'd for over 5 mins for turkey, when i got to the front the worker said she was serving beef and if i wanted turkey which was right beside her, id have to go to the bottom of the hall. I explained i had stood there for over 5 mins and there was a large que further down, and she said go to the other que!! i walked away and she started serving the turkey immediately, the reason i no this as my son who was behind me shouted to me, yet i was made to start again at the back of the que. Im so disgusted,. I was supposed to be on holiday, not in a prison. In the skyline the amount of tables and chairs is terrible compaired to minehead. You cant get a seat unless u que hours b4 something starts which we did for the african acrobats, and it lasted 15 mins!!! not worth the 95 min wait. ANother complaint was we enjoyed the funfair last year, and all week. Im pregnant so couldnt go on with my younger daughter this year, so my son took her on, just like he did last year. on the 2nd last day they went on the umberellas 1st then we walked over to the tug boat to be refused on, saying he wasnt old enough. You ignore the rules all week, same ppl and then have the cheek to spout rules in my face when u feel like sticking to them. 2 mins before they are on a ride which goes quite fast n is high up off the ground, yet not allowed on a silly little boat that turns!!! so i want to know why ur workers choose to stick to the rules one day and not the next. Maybe i need to take this up with health and safety as i have pictures from last year and this year of my kids on these rides. The key card system is awful too. You provide a card which doesnt work if near a camera (who doesnt carry one of these on holiday?) mobile phone (another item everyone carries) purse/wallet (another one u will not leave at home). where do u expect ppl to carry this card? all my shorts didnt have pockets, and as it was sunny i only had the option of putting the card in my bag. which meant everytime we went back to the room, it wouldnt let us in. so we then had to walk all the way back to guest services to have it reset. Being heavily pregnant this was sheer hell for me! The woman who dealt with me on many occasions in guest services was rude. On the 2nd attempt to have it reset she refused to reset it, and said she would send someone to the appartemnt to check it in 5 mins. so once again i walked all d way back, and no one arrived, so i had to walk away back down. her attitude was disgusting. i was shattered with all the walking back and forth. on the 3rd day i ended up having to go off site and buying shorts with a pocket just for ur key. why should i have to do this? You shouldnt provide cards that dont work when mixed with all the items ppl need. or u should provide sum sort of cover to protect it from the items. Overall i was very disapointed in butlins skegness. It was not a patch on minehead. the accomodation was awful, yet i paid the same as last year. I had planned to book another holiday with u next year but that idea is well gone now. I had even brought money to book it on resort. You really need to address these issues. as i no from speaking to others i am not the only person unhappy.
