Advantages: Your children will have fun, it's a cheap day out and there's lots to do.

Disadvantages: There aren't any

Jump is the largest indoor play centre in the United Kingdom as it is 26,000 sq feet. There are 3 Jump centres which are located in Plymouth, Cardiff and Bristol. Jump is mainly suitable for children aged 0-12 years.

We go to the Jump that is located in Cardiff. My daughters love it there as there is so much for them to do. The centre charges different entrance prices for different ages the prices are:

Babies: £1.00
1 to 2 years: £4.50
3 years plus: £6.50
Adults: £1.75
Then they charge half price for children that go there after school as long as it's after 4.30.

When you go in the centre you have a chance to put your shoes behind the counter. Or you can hire a locker to store your stuff in while you're there. Which costs £5.00 but it's only a deposit so you get it back at the end.

Jump has different sections for your children to play in depending on there age. If your child is a baby or a toddler then there is a sensory room. Or there's another room which has a few seats in, a big connect a four, a toy cooker and building blocks etc. This is good if your child wants a bit of quiet time and it encourages them to play. Then there is a small soft play part for them to play in which has a ball pool, big climbing frame, slides, soft cushions and walkers etc for your little ones to push around. There are also two trampolines that your children can play with them. They have nets around them so you know your child is safe when there on them.

The section for the older children has bouncy castles, a massive soft play climbing frame with big ball pools and slides. Your children will love making there way through the adventure frame climbing over nets and pushing the inflatables out the way. They will have hours of fun running around. Our daughters are 3 so when they go round the course we normally go with them so they don't get lost. They also find it a bit difficult climbing up parts of the frames so we help them.

Around the centre there are other bits to keep your children amused including ten pin bowling, a mini football pitch which we always go in, a little merry go ride for the little ones and much more. They also have a café there where you can buy meals and drinks. There is quite a lot of seatin and it is all open plan so you can sit down have something to eat, whilst watching your children running around having fun. Being honest we normally take our own drinks and store them in the locker as it works out cheaper.

The playcentre also caters for children's parties. They have themed rooms which are: funfair, pirate, space, enchanted castle, disco and shark and lots more. The walls are all decorated and there is all party stuff in there, and they have party music and loads more. You will also get party food and drink. I think it is £11.00 per child but you will need to check this. I recently found out that they do laser parties for adults which sounds great. I'm very tempted to do that for my husband's birthday.

I think this place is great as there is so much to do. My daughters never get bored of the place, as they always something different to do each time. It is also great going as a family as we get to spend time together and running around keeps us fit. Then once we get home the children just want to rest so we have some peace. We have found ourselves going there a lot when it's raining outside as there's not many other places you can go that are indoors. But normally quite a lot of people think the same so it can get quite busy. But overall I definitely recommend that you go to this brilliant playcentre.

Summary: Overall a great soft play centre.
