Chemistry Event

It's actually quite hard to write a review about Chemistry, it was so bad that I just want to go on about that for ages without even getting close to explaining how - and part of what made it so bad is that in principle it was a good idea, just really badly executed. So what was (or is, because it's going to happen again, hence the need for a cautionary tale) Chemistry?
