Cinemas in Liverpool in generalNewest Review: ... enter the cinema you will find a ticketing area where you can select the film you want to see, the time you want to see it and purchase your tickets from the machine. There is an extra charge for premier seating. If you really want to splash out with some friends you can choose your own box with unlimited popcorn and drinks. Great for a day out because it is situated within the new Liverpool 1 shopping centre. Showcase Cinema is not one i would recommend. I have visited this cinema twice and on both occassions, bunches of scallywags talked and threw things during the films and were very abusive when told to be quiet. FACT is a fab... more |

I haven't tried these tickets so can't comment on whether they are value for money or not. Regular tickets cost £7 or £8.50 for Premier seats which are slightly bigger and more comfortable but in my opinion not worth the extra as they are usually around rows 4 ... Read the complete review

***Showcase cinema*** East Lancs Rd (A580), Junction 4 M57 Advance Booking Number : 0151 548 0444 (Visa/Mastercard/Switch) 24 Hour Phone Number : 0151 549 2021 Showcase cinema is pretty large and ideal if you live in North Liverpool/Knowsley area. There are 14 screens at the cinema and it is located extremely near to McDonalds. Inside the cinema lobby there are 2 small seating areas which you will be glad of whilst waiting for your film to open. My one criticism of this cinema is that they let you into the film as the trailers are starting therefore the foyer becomes extremely cramped and it is dark as you attempt to find a seat. The ...
