Cineworld rocks my world and empties my pockets (Cineworld Cinemas)

Just back from another visit to our local Cineworld Cinema and I want to let you know some good and some bad things about the Ashford venue.

Well, it is generally clean and the staff, although helpful, do not seem to be very clued up. On both this occasion and the last they messed up. This time selling us five tickets for a group of four, so we had to spend extra time getting a part refund.

The food is very expensive, two slush drinks and a large popcorn for £10.40 seems excessive. The drinks were very big though, so in hindsight getting no change from a tenner was kinda expected.

All of the screens there seem to have low seating capacity. Screen 3 where we watched Star Wars Clone Wars was no exception. Although small the screen is a perfect size for the room, very clear and calibrated nicely. The sound is also very impressive, with great steering on the surround effects. Not too loud which is also very pleasant. The temperature of the room is nice and cool, something that I think is good. Other cinemas I have visited seem stuffy in comparison. The seats themselves are very comfy and clean, as is the floor.

The facilities are nice and clean too. It seems as though they get regular attention.

Overall, a nice experience. If only they lowered the ticket and refreshment prices slightly.
