Newest Review: ... lodges are located. It is then you realise the park and lodges are situated on a hill which gives a good view of the Firth of Forth. Our lodge was on the end of a row. We went inside, and were shown how everything worked. He was very friendly, and explained that although the touring part of the park was closed for winter, the lodges are open all year round and were currently all occupied. We asked a few questions about the surrounding area and places to eat etc and he was very helpul. He explained there is a regular bus service to Edinburgh if we didn't wish to drive, and it takes around 30 mins to get there. The nearby village of Preston... more

I will start by saying the name of this camping and holiday park is Drummohr Lodges. 'Drummohr' being all one word, not two words as the title shows. Drummohr Lodges are situated on the Firth of Forth, near Musselburgh, Scotland. The park is approx 8 miles from Edinburgh. I came across Drummohr Lodges while browsing through the Hoseasons brochure last year. I was looking for somewhere new to visit for a short break with my partner for his birthday in November, and having stayed in a few Hoseasons holiday parks previously and always finding them to be really nice, I didn't really want to look elsewhere.
