      Very helpful

A wonderful Chinese with plenty of Thai and vegetarian options too!

In Weston Super Mare we have rather a few really good and reasonably priced Chinese take aways/ which has been good for me cos I love Chinese food. This place happens to be the best place I have found. It is a little more pricier than other local Chinese's I think however the food is absolutely fabulous and worth every penny.

I have never eaten in the restaurant though seen it I have, I have telephoned ordered and gone to collect my food, I have nipped in and ordered and waited and ordered from Justeat.com.

      The Restaurant /Take away:

Visually this place is really lovely. Lots of tables and chairs, splashes of red and burgundy colours all around the place, lots of Chinese pictures and ornaments its a nice chilling environment this one. The staff are very clean, tidy and polite and as you walk in you have where you can order from and sit and wait or go in and sit and eat of course. The place is spacious, wheelchair friendly and very clean and the restaurant always has people eating in it which is a very good sign of course!

      The Food:

Loads and loads of choice, maybe too much for a Librian like me! The restaurant is licensed though you can't order alcohol to be delivered soft drinks in the way of cans (80p) and bottles of pop are available for £2.00. So what food do you have to choose from? Appertisers/starters/, Chicken, beef, king prawn dishes, roast duck, roast pork, curry dishes, Thai dishes, chop suey dishes, foo yung, vegetable and rice dishes, English dishes, house special dishes, set meals for 1 up to 3 people, extras and desserts.

Being as this is my favourite Chinese takeaway and I love to keep trying new things I have tried an awful lot of the menu as have my friends!

Out of the starters I have had King Prawns with Spiced Salt & Chilli (£4.80) and you get loads of juicy prawns really nicely salted with a bit of chilli scattered over them. These are quite simply lovely, not too much but if your a fish fan worth a try! The Deep Fried Squid Rings (£4.80) again are really nice and Crispy Spring Rolls are huge and really well packed with vegetables and are a bargain at £1.80 for the two of them! The Crispy Duck (£6.50 for a quarter or £12.50 for a half) comes with half a dozen or so pancakes and you get the duck really well shredded and ungreasy and a pot of hoison sauce and lots of slices of spring onion and slices of cucumber and this really is good! There are 8 soups to choose from as well and the Chicken And Sweetcorn Soup at £2.00 is a large portion and really nice and even delivered hot!

The mains come in microwavable plastic large containers so if you want to heat the food up you can. I have had Sweet & Sour King Prawn Balls, Roast Duck in Plum Sauce, House Special Curry, King Prawn Chop Suey, House Special Chow Mein, House Special Fried Rice all at £4.80 each and rice is 30p extra (fried) with the curry though with other dishes if you want rice you have to purchase that as it doesn't come with it. I have also had Beef in Satay Sauce, Beef with Ginger & Spring Onion and I order either boiled rice (£2.50) or fried rice with it (£3.00). chips are not available to buy from here though English meals with chips can be eaten in or delivered and there are 6 omelettes to choose from including Vegetable (£4.00), and a King Prawn Omelette for £4.90. For anyone who wants something English but not egg based there is also chicken bites and roast chicken so not a lot of choice there. Desserts are limited in fact there is only two which is pineapple and banana fritters which are £1.90 each though I don't recommend those to be honest cos although you get two of them they are always really soggy adn I am not one bit keen on them!

Sauces are available to purchase too such as sweet and sour, BBQ, Chilli and so on costing 66p a small tub and £1.10 a large one.

If you can't be bothered to go try work out the best meal options for you there is a selection of set meals to pick from starting at £8.50 with vegetation options available. Each consists of some sort of starter, 2 main meals (small) and a large rice. I quite often do this to be honest as it takes all the over thinking out of it!

      My Opinion:

Fantastic, colourful and great quality ingredients. Everything arrives if being delivered to me hot and I like the huge portion sizes and never eat a main meal completely as there is just so much of it. I have found that sometimes with Chinese takeaways near me you don't get many prawns but this place doesn't skimp at all. I haven't ever had a bad meal from here and neither has anyone that I know and it really is tops this one and when I move from Weston Super Mare I will actually miss it!
