Advantages: Clean and easy view and access for parents
Disadvantages: Toilets are an enigma first time round
A playcentre buried in the middle of a tiny industrial estate in a suburban area.
Kidz Kingdom is themed around a castle and dragons which shows in the interior design with dragons suspended in the ceiling height and castle walls all around.
The cafe area is known as the Dragon's Diner and serves a variety of sandwiches and snacks at fairly normal prices.
Entrance is £3.25 + depending on if your visit is at peak times or weekends and will generally get you entrance for 2 hours but when it's quiet the owners are pretty flexible about time limits.
The toilets are clean and each features a step stool and a potty as well, ideal for those with toddlers who are toilet training.
There's also a baby changing room which is generously stocked with wipes, nappy bags and antibacterial hand wash. There are even nappies stocked behind the counter for emergencies (though not to be taken advantage of).
The parties are a variable price from around £100 and include a number of elements such as hot and/or cold food, balloons, party bags and a guest visit from the Dragon (which is quite sweet!).
The play frame is really good, there are two levels for the toddler area an the older kids area covers 3 levels. It says it's recommended for children over 4 but it isn't strictly limited to that. My twins were happy whizzing around in there at age 2.
There's also a baby area which is great for those who aren't so mobile yet and the youngest siblings of the children who are going. I believe those under 1 have free entry too.
The staff are pretty friendly and willing to help.
The best bit is that no matter where you sit you can see all the play frame and generally speaking you can see your kids, which is a huge bonus for when you like to keep an eye on your kids.
There are comfy sofas and a number of cafe style chairs and tables, I always prefer the sofas but they get snagged pretty quickly.
It's always clean and you'll often see the staff going about returning things back to where they belong, like the balls to the top level by the air cannons or the push along toys to the toddler areas once abandoned by the toddler in question.
A nice atmosphere and one which we return to often.
My only criticisms are that more bunting would help blend the building more seamlessly with the theme, though it's hardly a necessity.
The toilets are not ideally signposted. I often see people looking for them.

Summary: A great play centre for both kids and adults
