Advantages: used to be good

Disadvantages: poor service, lax staff, long waits

Had visited many times before and the wee ones loved the place however since it recently changed hands it has gone way down hill in my opinion. They have some great plans for upgrades to the place which look good however they seem to be at the expense of other areas. Wee one played some prize machines, won a gift but machine was half empty so no gift was given - asked 7 (yes SEVEN) members of staff over an hour period and constantly told manager would come to see us - he never did. Also told it was my 6 year olds fault for not reading in full the tiny writing saying how to avoid choosing an empty rack - if all racks were full it would not be a problem and even we as adults could understand the instructions so how a 6 year old would is anyones guess! He was very upset and they would not even give him a 50p toy to perk him up and said the machines were nothing to do with them despite being on there premises!

The food also has vastly gone down hill with the prices still the same for most items but portion sizes much much smaller. The wait to be served was also around 20 mins as nobody was in the cafe area (this happened twice to me on this trip and a couple of others who had waited ages walked out swearing). When the lady in front of me was served she was charged £9 for a hot dog and burger - when she queried this turned out she was being charged prices for the garage next door and not for kingdom of fun - actual price was then amended to £4.50 ish. I too was over-charged £3 for a coffee (total of £10 for juice, coffee, water and 2 small buns) but after the wait for food and the poor service regarding the broken machine earlier I figured I would get nowhere by mentioning this.

It used to be Kingdom of Fun and we used to regularly drive from Dundee just to visit, despite there being many nearer soft-play areas, however its now Kingdom of Cannot-Care-Less it seems which is a shame.

Despite being regulars before we definately wont be back!
