Will be hiring the room again next year. Thank You Little Legs :)
We started visiting little legz in 2009 and have being going without fail every week since, its come a long way since we first started going and its a really great place to bring the children we childmind. The facilities are excellent and well maintained which is more than can be said for alot of other playcentres ive visited in the past. The staff are lovely and really chatty and are really easy to talk to. Would recommend visting through the week as weekends are of course very busy. Keep up the good work guys :) Amanda Sutcliffe. I Have been to Little Legz every week since the start of the new year (midweek and weekends) and nearly every time they have run out of bottled pop, fizzy drinks, Plates and cutlery are unclean etc and the staff do not show any interest when a complaint is made. I have also been and had to wait until leaving for change that was due as they keep running out. Myself, Family and friends will no longer be using little legz and will not be recommending you either.
me and my partner used to go to little legs all the time up until last weekend when i realised how un-hygenic it is!!there is a small play area for babies and my 7mth old lad was in there, crawling about, doing what babies do including mouth contact with the soft, spongy floor! i then noticed several men and women running in there with there kids in BARE feet!! i also noted a sign stating 'socks on at all times!' when i enquired to a member of staff, i was told the manager will be notified, we was there another half hour, me now holding my tot till something was done and the area cleaned!! NOTHING HAPPENED! we had to go as my tot was then playing up as he wanted to play!!!!! WE ARE NOT GOING AGAIN! we are now put-off with the place!
Soft play gyms seem to be latest crazy and they seem to be popping up everywhere all over the region. The latest one to open in Leeds is Littlelegz located in Beeston. I found out about it one through the latest small talk publication and thought I would give it a try as they always seem to be popular choice of activity for my little ones.
The directions given in advert were easy to follow and had no trouble finding the place except finding the entrance and car park was slightly more difficult. You need to past the little Legz building and take the next left and then the first left takes you round to the car park just outside the main entrance. Directions can be found from their web site
My first visit was a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed full with children of all ages having a great time. The admission price is a quite reasonable £3.70 for 1-3's and £3.95 for the over 4's. I also notice they do toddler session weekday mornings at a reduced rate which also includes a meal and a drink which seem great value. The place has a very lively atmosphere and is decorated in bright and colour designs which will a appeal to children. There is plently of seating for the grown ups and even a chilled out area with sofa's and sky tv so you can leave the kids to get on with playing a sit back and relax knowing they are safe. There isa cafe for drinks, cakes and also meals can be ordered too from the menu.
It is important to remember to take your socks as sock must be worn at all times in the play area and you wont be allowed on with out them. There is main play area as well as smaller section for younger toddlers. At busy times I would recommend keeping a close eye on younger children in the larger play area as the bigger kids tend to run around with out much notice off the smaller one as they are too busy having fun. I found my little one got banged a couple of times so I moved them to the toddler area where they were fine. This is a great place for kids mine were smiling the whole time. They loved the slides best of all but had fun in all the areas. A good time was had by all my family and I certainly will be heading back there soon.

Unfortunately in this area of Leeds there isn;t many things for children of a younger age to do. Little Legz provide a safe and secure area for children to play and go wild whilst you can sit back and relax. There is a small cafe where you can buy refreshments and you can also watch satellite TV whilst your children play.
The main area for the children here is the play zone. This is the large soft play area which caters for children of different age groups. At Little Legz they do realise that not all children are able to play on the larger playframes with the older children therefore they have created seperate sections. They have even included a toddler section which include toys, slides and a car section. The large play area includes slides, climbing area and there is also a facility to play football or other ball sports in the sports area.
Something that has also been introduced is the Game Zone. This area has many electrical computers games that both the adults and children can enjoy, I know I loved the four player air hockey game. This just allows your children or you to have a little bit of a change if you are in the play area for a couple of hours.
Little Legz also offer you the facility to cater for birthdays parties. I have never had a birthday party here however I do hear that they are great for the children. Special offers and party suggests can be found on their website or by speaking to someone at the play area.
The great thing about Little Legs is that it provides you with the piece of mind that your child will be safe whilst you can sit back and relax. The cafe is resonably priced and the children meals come with plenty of food! There are also drinks and snacks on sale if you prefere not to eat too much. The whole play area is very clean and in great condition, it has never been an issue with hygiene and I can certainly see how they get 5 out of 5 stars on the scores on the doors award system. Another bonus point of this is the loyalty card system that they have introduced. You pay a certain amount to get the card and this automatically reduces you playtime cost every time you go and then you get your 10th visit free. Definately something to think about if you are planning on going quite often.
The only issue that I think effects this place is the location. This is central and located on the main road from Leeds - Dewsbury Road, brilliant for the people that live near by as you can walk down from the main road without any issues. The exact location is a small industrial estate called Matrix Court, this is the problem. This is an industrial estate and when visiting during the week it can be very busy with lots of lorries and large vehicles driving by, I personally don;t think that this is ideal. In school holidays and the play area is busy parking can be hard. It is only polite not to use the other businesses parking spaces as I know I personally wouln't be too pleased if people where parking in my spaces! It can be very dangerous hilst other vehicles are about walking with your children. I do advice that you bear this in mind when planning you visit!
