Advantages: Good value for money
Disadvantages: Located in a busy industrial estate
Unfortunately in this area of Leeds there isn;t many things for children of a younger age to do. Little Legz provide a safe and secure area for children to play and go wild whilst you can sit back and relax. There is a small cafe where you can buy refreshments and you can also watch satellite TV whilst your children play.
The main area for the children here is the play zone. This is the large soft play area which caters for children of different age groups. At Little Legz they do realise that not all children are able to play on the larger playframes with the older children therefore they have created seperate sections. They have even included a toddler section which include toys, slides and a car section. The large play area includes slides, climbing area and there is also a facility to play football or other ball sports in the sports area.
Something that has also been introduced is the Game Zone. This area has many electrical computers games that both the adults and children can enjoy, I know I loved the four player air hockey game. This just allows your children or you to have a little bit of a change if you are in the play area for a couple of hours.
Little Legz also offer you the facility to cater for birthdays parties. I have never had a birthday party here however I do hear that they are great for the children. Special offers and party suggests can be found on their website or by speaking to someone at the play area.
The great thing about Little Legs is that it provides you with the piece of mind that your child will be safe whilst you can sit back and relax. The cafe is resonably priced and the children meals come with plenty of food! There are also drinks and snacks on sale if you prefere not to eat too much. The whole play area is very clean and in great condition, it has never been an issue with hygiene and I can certainly see how they get 5 out of 5 stars on the scores on the doors award system. Another bonus point of this is the loyalty card system that they have introduced. You pay a certain amount to get the card and this automatically reduces you playtime cost every time you go and then you get your 10th visit free. Definately something to think about if you are planning on going quite often.
The only issue that I think effects this place is the location. This is central and located on the main road from Leeds - Dewsbury Road, brilliant for the people that live near by as you can walk down from the main road without any issues. The exact location is a small industrial estate called Matrix Court, this is the problem. This is an industrial estate and when visiting during the week it can be very busy with lots of lorries and large vehicles driving by, I personally don;t think that this is ideal. In school holidays and the play area is busy parking can be hard. It is only polite not to use the other businesses parking spaces as I know I personally wouln't be too pleased if people where parking in my spaces! It can be very dangerous hilst other vehicles are about walking with your children. I do advice that you bear this in mind when planning you visit!
Summary: Overall a good experience
