Trendy, small and suprisingley nice! (Ritzy Cinema - Brixon)

Advantages: cheap and trendy Disadvantages: smaller screens than a imax I went here and was suprised at how nice it was - Brixton is not the nicest area in the world and the outside looks a bit tatty, however in the spirit of "Orange Wednesday" I went to watch a film here! It is clearly not part of a chain because there is a nice bar/restaurant attached which looked trendy and had outside seating, you buy your ticket at the drinks counter, and it looks small, i suspect only 5/6 screens. The screens themselves were a good size, obviously nothing like the imax however fine for watching a film on! The actual rooms probably held no more than 100 people and felt cosy; the seats were also really comfy and the one huge plus that will make me go back was the legroom; in the imax you are pressed up against the seat in front which can make your legs ache, however not in the Ritzy, loads of room! The tickets were cheap at £9 (£4.50 "OW") and the customer service was the riight side of cool and funky. Upstairs there is anewly refurbed hall which plays bands and the like on a weekly basis to see and dance to. All in all a pleasant experience Summary: Go! |

LA Bowl - All Under One Roof!
My views on the world - Cineworld!
Lovely lodge, but poor customer service and a bit of a dump!
2 bog-standard multiscreens and the fab Duke of York's Picturehouse
Scotgate Holiday Park (Braithwaite) - Portal to the Lake District
butlins skegness
Stunning Talyllyn Lake
I won't be waxing lyrical about this place!
Butlins...don't be fooled by the good marketing!!
