We have just returned from a holiday at Sandford Holiday park and I must say I was impressed. We had a lovely short break and was amazed that the holiday only cost us £90 by saving up vouchers with the local paper. BOOKING --------------- I was not entirely satisfied with the booking process but this is more an issue I had with Parkdean as a company than the holiday park. The company who deal with booking are called Parkdean and they currently have a number of sites over the UK. The offer we had saved up for enabled us to take a holiday any week/ weekend at a cost of £10 per person. We were told there maybe a small charge for linen, ...

If your an adult chav or have rowdy teenagers to amuse, and wish to spend your whole time in the club house or stuffing your face with rather below average meals (providing you find some where to sit without having to get there mega early) you will love this place. If you want a decent family holiday, without the need to complain about some of the tatty accomodation (not just the basic ones either) tatty worn out crazy golf, tatty worn out GRIT sports and tennis court, tiny crowded indoor pool, tiny go cart track, dirty and some unused, freezing outdoor pool, horse riding was being led around on an old nag around the park avoiding the bikes n peddle ...

Within 10 minutes of arriving at Sandford Weststar Holiday Park I was on the phone to Hoseasons asking to be moved. There were 6 in our party; Myself, Hubby and 2 kids (6 and 12) and my parents. To be fair to Hoseasons, they did offer to refund us the money and let us go home, but everywhere in the area was full, and you can't disappoint the kids can you? The restaurant was filthy and the cutlery was dirty - had to request clean knives!! The whole site was permanently littered with beer bottles, rubbish and bins overflowing. I wouldn't let my kids near the outdoor pool as it looked disgusting. There are no real play areas or even green areas for ...
