Kingdom of Fun (Dunfermline) ... visited many times before and the wee ones loved the place however since it recently changed hands it has gone way down hill in my opinion. They have some great plans for upgrades to the place which look good however they seem to be at the expense of other areas. Wee one played some prize machines, won a gift but machine was half empty so no gift was given - asked 7 (yes SEVEN) members of staff over an hour period and constantly told manager would come to see us - he never did. Also told it was my 6 year olds fault for not reading in full the tiny writing saying how to avoid choosing an empty rack - if all racks were full it would not be a problem and even we as ad... Alea Casino ... To begin, i would like to say that I have only ever experience the Alea Casino in Leeds, and therefore my review is directed towards that and not any other locations around the UK. My Story - My university mates and I decided that we fancied a bit of a casino crawl around Leeds so we quickly researched the different money drainers on offer. We found there to be a number of different establishments from Gala to Alea to Grosvenor and Napoleons. Therefore we decided to travel to them all in one night. I shall compare Alea here against the other casinos in Leeds. Unfortunately, being located at Clarence Dock, Alea is well outside the main hub of Leeds City Centre... Alea Casino ... only reason for visiting this casino is for the excellent cocktails, and the fact that you will probably be the only person at the bar and so wont have to wait to get served. This casino is quite new, and it looks it. The decoration is amazing, it looks like something out of James Bond. There are loads of chandeliers, a large main hall with a high ceiling, and a small private cinema which I didnt actually see. Its situated in the newly revamped part of Clarence Dock, theres parking right behind it, a tescos, and several resturants nearby. The casino also has its own resturant but Ive never eaten there.
