Newest Review: ... in low season so I cannot comment on the feel of the site during peak season when it is full. In low season I feel it is a little more expensive than many sites but a bit cheaper than many during peak season. For us, it is worth that little bit more in low season because it is the closest site to our friend that has hardstanding pitches and which is open all year. There is a loyalty scheme, whereby you get a free night once you've stayed so many nights on one of the Morris Leisure sites (sorry can't remember how many nights it is, I know we are well on the way to earning our second free night because we've stayed here quite a bit!) This site is operated by Morris Leisure and affiliated to the Caravan Club. It has been awarded 5 stars by the tourist board and 4 pennants by the AA. The site is set out around a lake and has mature trees as well as bushes and potted plants. We normally ask for a pitch at the back of the site and enjoy the walk past the lake to the facilities block. Needless to say, given the lake, there are ducks and geese around, plus a pair of peacocks. We have stayed here a number of times when visiting a friend in Wolverhampton, always in low season so I cannot comment on the feel of the site during peak season when it is full.
