I'm not too sure of this review should be about the Campsite, but I wanted to review my most favourite beach of all time; Three Cliffs Bay. This is a hidden little gem, as it's not signposted nor is it easily viewed from the Gower Road. If you do find it though, you'll be rewarded with the best view on the Gower Peninsular. It has been voted as Britain's Favourite View on a recent ITV show.

There are 2 ways of getting to Three Cliffs Bay. The first is a car park you'll come across that will show signs to Three Cliffs and you have to pay. Please don't stop here. Carry on driving and the parking is free, if you park on the gravel car park by the row of cottages when you enter Penmaen, or if that's full (which is mostly is in peak times), there is another car park that many don't know about. It's nearly opposite the gravel car park, drive over the cattle grid and you can park on the left in the small field.

To get to the bay, you take a scenic walk before you get to the cliff tops. There is a narrow sandy path down. When it opens up, you'll be standing on a large sand dune, with the most stunning view I know. It was here that my husband proposed, so it's a very special place to us.

You can walk on the Three Cliffs themselves , or if you're not feeling adventurous, there is a cave you can walk through, which is just as exciting (as long as the tide is out).

It's a beautiful beach. I love going there in winter as you often had the whole beach to yourself. It's idyllic and breathtaking!
