The campsite was easy to find although not really signposted until you saw the parks own large signs at the site entrance. When we arrived it was clear this was a well organised location. I go camping about once a month during April - September at which point I give up with the cold. Living in Glasgow means we are only about 45 minutes away from some countryside and liberated living and come rain or shine I still love the feeling of freedom and space. We only had one night last week so abandoned our far flung sightseeing and instead went to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, a beautiful area for walkers and cyclists and a good stopover if your heading further north.
