Advantages: Lovely to walk around

Disadvantages: Some very expensive shops

Victoria Square is a shopping and retail area that has been opened in Belfasts city centre since March 2006. It took a long time to build and when you walk around it you can tell that a lot of planning and great care went into building it.

There are several shops here so this is a great place to go if you are a shopoholic like me. A lot of the shops are quite expensive ones so i usually just come here to window shop unless there are some good sales on!

There are a lot of eating places and restaurants like O'Briens, TGI Fridays, La Tasca and if you are a bit strapped for cash theres a McDonalds here too.

I usually come to Victoria Square to the Odeon which is situated here on the top floor. It really nice to walk through Victoria Square at christmas as it is beautifully decorated at this time and feels lovely and magical with all the twinkly little lights everywhere.
