by Mikey 30/03/09 .I read some poor reviews on here before going on our flight on sunday and half expected the flight to be cancelled as had happened to lots of other people,but fortunately we had a still clear frosty morning.The day starts buy helping unfurl and inflate the balloon you can help as little or as much as you like but everybody mucked in. There was a saftey briefing before the inflation so everyone knew how and when to get in the basket.Takeoff was smooth and safe and what fantastic view from even the early stages of the flight and it got better as we rose.The pilot Dave adjusted the altitude and turned the balloon at various points on the flight to get different perspectives, he kept us informed all of the time what was going on and in particular when we were about to land . We hit then bounced three times as Dave had said we would basket tipped but we were all secure inside.We all helped re-pack the the balloon while we waited for the support crew to locate us in the field.Everyone was the presented with certificates and ampagne before the trip back to pick up our cars.I khow we were lucky bacause we got our flight on our booking (some people had been booked and canceled several times) but it's well worth it.We had an unforgettable day all thanks to a great pilot and support crew,stick with it if you get cancelled you won't regret it.
