It took about 9 months to actually get off the ground (to be fair much of that was over the winter when there were no flights!). I think we booked about 7 flights which were cancelled due to weather conditions. However, we eventually had lift off on 20th March. It was truly wonderful - very relaxing yet exciting.
The pilot and crew worked very hard and did everything to make us feel comfortable and at ease. It was a great experience throughout and helping with the launch and getting it all together at the end added to the experience. If you get the chance - do book....... well worth the effort.

Difficult to do if you work as the morning starts are very early so you would need to book the whole day off. The false starts make this a big problem unless you have very flexible working arrangements. We also had quite a long drive to the launch site - not a problem for us as we are retired and had all the time in the world!

I would stil say that this is really worth the effort and I would like to do another flight in a different area.
