Disadvantages: Price of food

There is something about the layout of this cinema that reminds me of a theme park ride. The colour scheme is outlined mainly with blues and yellows. The cinema is clean and the staff are very friendly (greeted me with a smile and willing to make small talk). If you don't really like interaction (to my surprise you can purchase tickets over the concessions counter) or don't feel like food there are self service ticket booths.

In terms of food the popcorn was ok however the drink was over filled with ice. The prices are shocking (water £2.30...surely this is illegal!!). For two personal to watch a film you would be looking at £30 (£9.70 per person ticket- peek and food). But in these credit crunch times it's cheaper than the theatre. My advice; take full advantage of orange Wednesday's, if you are lucky enough to gain a vue more voucher from a past visit (£1.50 off) USE IT, last minute, student card (please remember to bring it as the policy is strict no card no discount, student oyster cards are now deeded as acceptable).

The seats are conformable and clean however the seat handles have cup holders but they can't rise so cuddles forget it!!

For those of you with kids are just looking for a cheap ticket there is a deal on weekend mornings called Kids am.
It is 95p (yes you heard 95p) per person (adults and children) to watch the selected film. It will be a kids film (U or PG rated). The company takes old kids films and replays it....such as Wallie, monsters vs aliens, Kung Fu Panda, Shorts and many many more.

They do sometimes repeat the film (e.g two weeks in a row) and it will be played on sat and sun, there are no adverts so arrive on time.
The film will be played between 10am -11:30am but do chcek online for listings (www.myvue.co.uk)....and follow on to the Islington branch
